I have had ringing in my ears ever since I had my accident 35 years ago. I think they call it tinnitus, but I have never had it diagnosed. It is like a continual high-pitched 'rushing' sound. It is not so loud and I cannot say that it bothers me. Sorry if yours is worse than this,
