How to Get Sick: Wear Synthetic Fabrics

The ideal clothing for the human body is created from the Maker's natural fibers. Wool and cotton "breathe" and can manage human perspiration while preserving a balanced body temperature, whether you're in a hot or cold climate. Synthetic fibers often come from petroleum-based resins and other unnatural sources. Unfortunately, conventionally grown cotton is often contaminated with pesticides and chemical dyes, so choose your clothing carefully, and do your homework before you visit the department store.

Know Your Organics
How do you know if that T-shirt is made out of organic cotton? Chances are it'll say so on the label. Organic products, including cotton, are certified by independent and government agencies, and guarantee that what you're wearing was grown without chemicals. With cotton, the growing field must be free of chemicals for at least three years before it can be certified organic.

Resolve to be tender with the young, compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with the striving, and tolerant with the weak and the wrong. Sometime in your life you will have been all of these.
