I live in a small town. Everyone knows everyone here.

Monday a 13 year old overdosed on Methadone and died. He was a good friend of my Grandson's and again, very well known and liked. Last night the Police and Ambulance was 2 doors down from me and a 17 year old overdosed and is in the hospital. I don't know yet what he overdosed on. He was at Dustin's birthday party 2 weeks ago. The boys know all of the kids around here. We talked about it tonight and I believe they understand the extent of the danger of drugs.

This brings back the thought of why we are running into Drs. that are so reluctant to give out Narcotics. At least one of the reason's anyway.
The paper said that our town was reeling from the death of the 13 year old. It sure hits close to home when it is something we never see here. Thankfully our Policemen have started to crack down on drugs and gangs around here, but just too late for some.
