Default Rant: VEEG Techs Lack of TN Knowledge

I don't think it is very often you will find me well beyond being angry, but to the point I cry and curse. I am typing this from the hospital and I am half tempted to give the finger to the camera in my face. Lucky for the very young (and good looking) EEG Reader, he didn't place my electrodes.

The technician who did, however, was informed via my chart and myself that I have TN and the placement of two electrodes will end up triggering attacks. I didn't have an attack, I had constant pain from 8:30am Monday morning until around 4:00pm Tuesday when I had a meltdown and said I would check out against medical advice should they not find somewhere to pick up my frontal lobe brain waves without triggering my TN.

This lady told me to rough it, and it wasn't until they'd lose the 10+ thousand dollars per day for my testing was threatened she came in to see the electrode was on my head and the gel was gone (there should be a moderate amount between my skin and the electrode).

It took 1 minute for her to fix something that caused me enough pain that I went on a cursing rampage and broke out in tears. Something I had to 'rough' for over 24 hours, because she was not informed enough. The electrode was placed to a better area, however, the one atop my temple is now starting to trigger but nothing close to the one from yesterday.

What I don't get, is why they aren't more considerate about this. Or even better aware of some things. I see they want me to have a seizure, that makes sense. But not even recognizing how painful TN is or trying to prevent a TN attack is downright rude. I had never had an attack last that long or be so extreme that I was seriously ANGRY. I mean, I cursed aloud (I do not do that, it's not me). I was soooo mad.

I'm totally homesick.
