Unhappy Loss of my bladder function

Hi all,
I had cervical cancer in 1991 had a radical hysterectomy and my bladder was never the same, nerve damage occured from that surgery.
Never had the urge to pee again.
Yesterday I had my 4 th inter-stim removed. These are neuro-transmitters put in to stimulate nerve function of the bladder in hopes to get it to contract to empty. Much to my disappointment the transmitters did not work. Medically no one knows why. Between catheters, wearing depends and worrying about the bathroom, even while I sleep it rules me.
I have had wetting episodes in places I would never care to mention.
And yes, my only hope was these transmitters.
And my Uro does not want to deal with it. Has passed me on to another. He can not deal with the disappointment either.:mad

Grief and loss occurs when loosing a functioning body part, I never knew how painful and devastating this can be.
There is nothing anyone, including me can do but grief the loss and pray that a Uro will hang in there and help me.

Thanks all for listening!
