They used to say that to me too. I finally landed a good female gyne who looked me in the eye and said "NO ONE should ever have to go throgh what you've been going through for over ten years." I actually sat there with my mouth wide open. She gave me two choices, try the hormone where you inject six little tube things into your arm (remember that one?) or surgery. I opted for surgery since every BC or hormone I took caused my migraines to worsen. No way was I going to inject something I couldn't stop right away. Plus, the idea of no period was amazing!

Now I am going through menopause but it's pretty easy since I already went through a partial menopause when I had the surgery.
