It's been a lot more than 10 years that I've bled like that and I'm sick of it. But at this point I'll just live with it until nature takes its course. I'm 45, so hopefully that'll be soon. I have no one to measure against--my paternal grandmother died when I was 1 1/2, my maternal grandmother had a hysterectomy when she was in her early 30s, my mom had a hysterectomy in her early 30s, both parents are only children, and I don't have any sisters! So you could say I'm an orphan menopauser!

It didn't make me happy either when I was told that. But it wasn't worth the fight at the time.
