Default my new job and my tos.....

hi all!....well i have had a bit of a shocker with my new job - perhaps a little niavely, i didnt realise that children with severe autism can also be fairly violent - i found this out with my second day with the kids today when one girl took a disliking to me telling her off and starting slapping me - VERY hard around the face, head and my arm (which i had put up to protect my eyes and face!). Thankfully it was my good side, im noticing a little more pain in my neck than usual on my bad side but im sure more after effects will be along shortly.

apparently there is one boy who is more violent on his way next week as well so i think im quite rightly concerned about my tos - if im hit in the wrong place, or my arm is yanked or something like that (which may never happen!) then i could be in serious probs!

hoping i can be switched to a diff department where the less severe children are but the school are not looking to be very sympathetic to those with probs like mine!.

FED UP!!!!
Hope everyone else is well...
xx
