Up until just about a month ago, I lived just outside of NAB Oceana, under a major flight path. Although most of the population didn't care and was happy to embrace "the sound of freedom" (many through bumper stickers saying the same!) there were some that complained. Funny thing is that the complainers got money via a lawsuit. That really irked me. Live near an airbase and live with the noise. Got to be that I didn't notice it when I was inside and when I was outside and the flight path was directly over, I couldn't help but look up in awe. They are my heroes. GO NAVY!! (or Airforce... )
