Overprotective chihuahua
MY story isn't "funny", but I have noticed that my chihuahua is always sooooooo protective when I am feeling really sick. He seems to "sense" those specific days, and won't let anyone near me - no one!
He's only 4 lbs. but can be really fierce when he wants to be! Right after my surgery, a family member ran over to give me a hug, and he really went after them! It was really cute!
Have any of you noticed your dogs becoming more protective on your "bad" days? I have Myasthenis gravis, so I never know what kind of day I'm going to have, but somehow Cory (my chihuahua) senses how I feel the moment I wake up.
Also, right after my thymus was removed, he slept with his little head on my chest - right where my scar is......he is such a little lover . .........
All of my "babies" (I have 4 dogs - 3 poms and Cory) have gotten so used to sleepin in the same room with me that when I actually sleep in the room with my hubby, my dogs actually "throw their little bodies @ my door - trying to get in - weirdos!
