I have another mouth question
Someone suggested oral lichen planus as a possible cause of my burning mouth. Having seen 2 dentists, GP and neuro, who all looked in my mouth, none mentioned this as a possibility.
What I'm curious about is, how does oral lichen planus present? Is it a constant discomfort? Mine is non existent during sleep, and only starts to get worse in the evening/late night when I'm still awake.
I've checked my own mouth, and while I had some white lines, but they seem to coincide with my bite (and I tend to bite the inside of my cheek accidentally!).
Is there a way to say one is OLP, or one is burning mouth syndrome?
