Default Maybe it's protein and maybe it ain't

The protein-ldopa problem seems to be an urban legend for most of us, so be sure it applies to you rather than relying on conventional wisdom. Dr. Lieberman says that about 20% of us need to factor it in. Ironically, protein is what we make dopamine from ultimately.

If simply eating does it, be aware of "post-prandial hypotension" which is scientese for "eat big and all your blood rushes to your stomach" and that can really make symptoms worse.

Also think about your blood sugar. Do you do better with frequent small meals?
