Some of you may remember when I was asking for prayers for my brother a while back. He was dealing with having an arachnid cyst, the possiblity of MS as well as having seizures. Well the answer to "do prayers work?" is YES!
After the latest MRI there is no indication of a cyst of any kind! The neuro also doesn't think that he has MS. He is not out of the woods though. The EEG shows a decrease in brain wave activity and he is still having seizures every day, sometimes 3-4 times a day. He will be going to a specialist at Vanderbilt for further testing. Please continue to keep him in your prayers.
I have been catching up on my rest since the trip, seems like it all hit me at once! I'm feeling better but still dealing with a lot of numbness and tingling.
We are watching Ike closely, dh says we'll be fine since we are inland but the thought of possibly being without power bugs me. He teases me saying he'll evacuate just to get away from me if I don't stop worrying! LOL
A bit of good news - some of you know that I signed up for the MS Walk here in Houston on the 28th. I set a goal of $500. Yesterday the amount I have raised is up to $450!

I am so excited about that.
I hope everyone is okay and those in the line of Ike are taking precautions, this is one monster of a storm! Stay safe.

Love Y'all,
Susan
I still haven't got the Pittsburgh pictures posted...I'm working on it!
