Thanks y'all. Yeah, we have insurance on it, but I actually hope the boat storage place's insurance will cover it since it was their fire.

One of the main reasons I have it stored there is that my dad's truck was the only truck we had that would pull it safely and it was a gas guzzler. We sold his truck, so I would have had to try to pull it with my truck.

If I would have wanted to go get it, I would have had to pull it with an undersized truck on several freeways being used as evacuation routes by thousands of people trying to escape the storm. If the truck would have broken down or heaven forbid ended up in a wreck, it would have been an impediment to thousands of people trying to evacuate. Quite frankly, their lives are more important than my boat, so I stayed put.

We are on the west side of Houston and are only expecting about 75-80 mph sustained winds and about 90-100 mph gusts. We have the yard and patio all secured and are just waiting for it to get here now.
