Glad to hear Sally's doing OK, except for the nasty power issue. They're saying this has been the worst disaster in Ohio since the Blizzard of 1978. I know Sally doesn't live too far from me and we've been without power since 2 p.m. Sunday. Thank goodness for power at work so I can keep connected on the internet, plus I'm using the ladies restroom at work to get ready in the mornings.
We have a power line down in our backyard, spreading across three neighbors yards and quite a bit of tree damage and debris. We're hearing all sorts of wild estimates, anywhere from most power being restored by this weekend to mid-next week! I am so thankful we're having mild weather here and can survive without A/C right now.
Probably my biggest complaint - other than the fact I have no way to dry my yard long hair when I am able to wash it - is that drivers fail to understand the concept of four-way stops when traffic lights are out. I can't tell you how many times we've almost been hit by idiots blasting through the intersection!
