I was very leery of Splenda for that very reason...not that I've had a bad reaction to anything in the past I just know I can't tolerate the taste. Splenda I can do. I've been using it for my coffee only. I tend to drink a lot of coffee (decaf so don't anyone panic! LOL!) and I was using a *lot* of sugar. I'll still treat myself to a cup of candy coffee in the evenings after dinner as a treat...sugar and half&half. For cereal I'll use a little sugar if I need it. I'm finding since I quit smoking things taste sweeter to me. There are a number of cereals I no longer add sugar to...don't need to.
I just don't want to do anything that might accidentally stir up my symptoms.
