I too suffer pain head to toe and know how you feel, I think. It is hard when you can't move without pain to get motivated to do anything. I used to be a real go getter, always had to be busy getting things done. Now I am content to sit in my favorite chair doing things with my hands. I still work, take care of house and yard etc but with much effort. I think the important thing I have done tho is to lessen my expectations as far as major accomplishments go. If I am happy just sitting making jewelry, reading, drawing, watching tv, talking to people, etc, there is nothing wrong with that.
When I stand, I can only stand for about 5 minutes and the pain is so bad I have to sit. I think that if you can find something you love to do and doesn't involve too much standing you will be happy. I found lampworking about 2 years ago. I can sit doing it, but it is exiting. It involves melting glass with a torch to make beads, paperweights, sculptures and small blown items. It takes alot of patience and time to practice. I know it is not for everyone, but if you could find your equivalent hobby, it would really make your life so much brighter. I hope this does help in some way because living with chronic pain is definitely a hard way to go.
P.s. Does medical mj help with your pain? What kind do you take? Have I spoken to you in chat before?
