I don't know if I believe that because I managed to get rid of the claw hand that I had had for 5 yrs. Most of my other symptoms though, were only about 2 yrs old . . . but most had been consistent and very debilitating throughout that time.

Some changes are very insidious though. I've heard people say that one day, after several months on LDN, they suddenly realized that hadn't used their cane for short distances in a long time. I think it's kinda' like we don't always notice as things slowly progress (with the disease process), and we don't always notice as things slowly improve (from LDN) either.
