oh, and as for whther to take the baby to your appt...I did mone under anestesia- so I couldn't even drive myself home after the appt let alone take care of a baby. I am a big fat scardy cat when it comes to needles.

In general, though, I would expect it to be similar or better to your nerve block experience...that's how it was for me.
