Hi Mbabic, and to the forum!

When we are first dx, quite often the disease is fairly active (generally that's how it becomes so obvious that we have it, actually). After a while, things level off, with or without disease modifying drugs, at least if we are in the Relapsing/Remitting category anyway.

The disease modifying drugs (DMD's) that most of us are on, aim to reduce inflammation (enhancing lesions), hopefully amounting to less relapses (hence "symptoms" of relapses). It stands to reason then, that we might find that we might actually feel better if the drug "works" for us.

There are many other positive steps we can take too, like all the things you mentioned (diet, exercise, etc.). Quite often it is hard to tell what has made the difference . . . so as my doc says "keep doin' what you've been doin'".

Glad you are feeling better and hope it is lasting for a very long while.

Cherie
