Denise, Sorry it has taken me so long to write back. Mod edit required per NT Guidelines Now to your other questions. I got the fibro diagnosis first & honestly I thought it was wrong. I didn't belive it at all & it made no sense for the pain in my arm. When I finally got the RSD diagnosis with a fibro diagnosis then it made sense. It wasn't just one thing I was dealing with but the two the sysmptoms put together that made sense to me. The pains were completely different. Adn the fbro mostly gets my the rest of my body I don't notice it in my RSD areas becaue they are too bad with RSD pain. I also have IBS & ulcers. But for pain I take topomax & dilaudid & am on a fentanyl patch. My pain meds are not working real well right now & I am going to see my gp about it because I didnt like the options my pm doc gave. Including changing to one med where I am guaranteed to be in pain & sick for a minimum of a week. Sound like fun to you? Oh & it has a 50-50 chance of even working. So second opinion time it is! I am so glad you are getting out in the sunshine & looking at a yoga class or something. That is so great. Don't give up. It doesn't seem like it I know but attitude wise at least it will get better. You find ways to live with it & deal with things I promise. I swear I had horrid days & feel much better than I did a year ago. Not that I still don't have bad days I do & I want lie to you. But they are profoundly less even during my last 5 week flare-up. It is so nice to talk to you.
hugs, Denny
