Fin remember this summer everything switched sides on me yet the neuro said there was no new activity, on MRI's.I did ask him how this could be, he said not all lesions are visible, but I also have a rather large on in spinal area he said may of been triggered, perhaps you have one hidden or one that is being active,

I too freaked out I didn't know it could switch sides, so far my permanent damage still seems to be mainly left side but i do have more muscle issues on right side after that flare, so hopefully this shall pass with out any residual effects
