I think it may be worth checking into. The problem is that tests are notoriously false negative, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't look into it. I know Igenex is the lab, and Lymenet the forum, and that there are several on BTers who are quite knowledgable. I've also known several who had gluten sensitivity, Lyme disease, and B12 deficiency...ALL. And all needed to be treated before they got well.
The symptoms do overlap a great deal, and I had sort of wait listed myself for further Lyme disease testing...should my symptoms re-emerge (thankfully they haven't in over five years). Actually, my neurologist had run the standard Lyme titre before he thought to check my B12, and it was negative...but I now know that doesn't say much.
