It sounds like you have cronic fatigue syndrome. I have it and I spent a year fighting it. I had this ideal that if I could take sleeping pills and get a good night sleep I'd not be sleeping what seemed like 24 hours a day. my doc said it didn't work that way. Desperation makes a person come up with some crazy ideals. LOL
CFS sometimes comes with the Fibro. The Rheumotolgist is the best one to treat Fibro if he's good. The one I saw was a joke. I called him the Fibroman because he seems to diagnose everyone with it. He isn't any good for helping anyone with it though.
I could not stay awake. I am still that way at night while watching tv or reading a book. I make it through about 4 pages and I'm out and by 8 or 9 I'm falling out of the chair watching tv. It worries me because I am actually afraid of falling out of the chair or out of the bed when I'm trying to watch tv in bed.
I couldn't find anything to help me with it. The Drs. just kept saying I would have to sleep it off.
You might ask the Rheume if this is what you might have also.
feel better soon.
