hey! This forum is new to me-I came in because I am outraged at the cost of these meds...I started betaseron in 1995 for 999.00/mo thoughts back then was that competition would drive prices down...never happened!
on 9/22/08 I picked up rebif at the pharmacy for $ 2,320.39
In feb. 2008 the cost was 1,894.31 That is about a 22% increase and it occurs monthly.
I am on medicare.
I am on social sec. disability.I also have private disability from employment
In jan 2008 medicare . gov predicted drug costs to be less than they are...I was told by blue cross that cost is determined by the market value.
WOODHAVEN-I SUGGESt montel williams assistance program-he has MS and would luv to see everyone get the medicine they need-PAN-patient assistance net work -if you're accepted will pay copays up to 4,000.00-I used to think that would suffice!! but NOT!! This year or last.
