I am so sorry that your friend is gone. We had to put down our dog we got from my brother as a wedding gift. He lived 13 years. He was a Rottweiler/Akita mix. Our Mr Khan...

When he died we took him to be cremated and they made a print of his paw along with his dog tag plus a tuff of hair and put it in a picture frame with a copy of the Rainbow Bridge poem. I look at it now and then but the picture of him I love is him laying around my daughter when she was about 2. He surrounded her little body and they both have a big smile on their faces. I have that one out on the piano and look at it all the time.

It is so hard to lose a pet but I wanted to thank you for saving a dog and showing it love for the time it had left here on earth...Sue
