We checked the insurance out pretty thoroughly when the teen went. She is still covered under Dad for now, but they have a good selection of options and it wasn't that much per year.

Woman! *smack* If you're willing to pay hundreds per credit hour just to make you eligible to buy insurance, you definitely need to enroll now!

My last classes at the U were $600+ per credit hour, that's an average of $1800 per semester per class. I think you could get some dandy insurance for that and they won't give you homework.
