Your post reminded me that many folks are facing winter's arrival. I wonder if that is depressing or if it is kind of comforting to have the cycles of nature.

The only difference in weather we have is rainy season and dry season. Dry season does not have hurricanes.

You also remind me of the holidays.
Yuck. I really hate the holidays. I don't know why. They feel like work. They are annoying.

I'm glad I married someone who doesn't care about our holidays very much.

You sound like you have a good plan.
A good winter coat.
Not too many presents at Christmas.
