Good Thursday morning! Is everyone sleeping in this morning?

I have an appt to call a reporter of our local newspaper this morning. He wants to interview a local person with MS about proposal 2, which in Michigan is for the passage of a law to use embryonic stem cells for research.

I hope I am able to relate correctly how I feel and I hope if I do that I am quoted correctly.

There was good news in the newspaper about funding for the research. A Michigan man has sought to advance stem cell research on scientific and political fronts by announcing a 22 million-dollar donation to the U of M medical research institute. Former president Clinton will be promoting stem cell proposal 2 by appearing at a fundraiser. Tickets are listed at 500-2500 dollars, out of my budget.

Other than that nothing planned for the day.
