frogga,
Sorry to hear about all the sleepiness you are having. Same problem here too. Taking Lyrica has mad it MUCH worse for me tho so am in the process of weaning off of it with my Doc's knowledge of course. I slept all night & all morning until April came by today at 11:30am knocked on the door. I am now up but ohhhh I want to go lay back in my recliner & go right back to sleep again. *sighing* * ly* But also like you I had gone years & years due to Fibromyalgia with only a few hours of sleep at a time ever. I use to take Ativan just so I could sleep atleast 4 to 5 hours before going to work the next day After RSD hit (it disabled me) & I was finally on the meds I take now I don't need anything to help me sleep, cause all I do is sleep it seems. All that Josie has listed is definitely stressful. I know that sleeping too much is stressful for myself without any of the rest of the stressors you are dealing with thrown into the mix. But yes you should see your doctor about the insomnia. I agree with Joselitah that your 'insomnia' could be stress related Jose is one smart lady in all areas that I have found. (Jose, now dont you dare go disagreeing, you are too...smart that is *Giggling* ) She really does think things thru, she has too cause she has had to raise 2 kids on her own. She still has both at home, one in college nearby & one a Senior in High School. (Boy do I rememer those days with my own. LOL oh indeedy I do!!! I too raised 2 kids basically on my own. That has been about 10 yrs ago now.)

Like LisaM I too take Provigil to help stay awake. And if I take it after 12 noon I too have a hard time falling alseep if I can at all. It is a drug given to people with Narcolepsy to help them stay awake instead of falling asleep all the time too. It does take the sleepy's away, but I don't take it every day either. I take it when I know I need to stay awake to do something or to get something done. One example is: I take it when one of my 'little guys' come to stay with me. (little guy/s = grandson/s) Also if I take too much at once (it comes 100mgs or 200mg caplets which you can break in half) then my heart will start pounding. Or rather it feels like it is pounding but my heart rate is ok actually. But I do agree with her that taking Provigil might be a viable solution for you. Since I only take it a couple times a week it doesn't mess with your sleep at all the days you don't take it I have found so perhaps you have some days you could get more sleep than others. I have not found that it interferes with any of the other meds I take which are Morphine Sulfate, Neurontin, Baclofen, Evoxac, Lyrica, & Trental.

wow after reading what all you have for classes each day again I say WHEW.....I must say.....you have so much to be proud of..............Your folks should be very proud of all you do accomplish.............I know I am

and I agree as for Marc being a mother hen.........he sure is *ducking*...........

A TALL ONE, every time I see your name I think of giraffes....I collect them, doesn't matter what form or made of I collect them. I even have a license plate holder saying "BIG TIME GIRAFFE LOVER" on it I love em........so graceful when they walk or lope. Talk about getting around diversity???!!! With that long long neck..........I took to them after whiplash took me outa myself for so long. I started collecting them then & even for my last BD my hubby had the neighbor gal who does glass etching make one of two giraffes almost kissing with purple around it. It hangs over our kitchen sink in the window. Soooooooooooo cool to look at when the sunshines in the window. Anyway...........I also thot that you must be quite tall for that handle.................

"Rooster"!!! I am the biggest **** of the walk"
I laughed so hard as I hadn't heard that little ditty since I was a teenager from my Mom of all of people at that *ROFLOL"

Artist Artist!! don't scratch my eyes out pleasssseeee *LOL* I am one who can make a friend very easily. As my children say......"GGEEEEE MOM you embarass me.. You can talke to anyone, anywhere, about anything at anytime." Hence why I get so "windy fingered" on here. *LOL* OOPS!!

BTW.....does anyone know what this symbol *€* stands for I just can't figure that one out.......and ** inquiring minds want to know............* *
