Default autism

Jenny McCarthy has come out with a second powerful book about her journey helping her son to recover from autism.

A gluten free (and dairy free) diet was one very important part of her son's recovery.

However, I didn't see any mention of testing for genes for gluten sensitivity.

Does anyone know if autistic children and adults test positive for celiac genes?

If so, what about the DQ 1 gene that can be associated with neurological problems?

Does anyone know if some of the groups that believe in biomedical treatments for autism aware of gene testing?

Thanks, Bea
