Maybe I'll be lucky and they'll reciprocate and then I can share about my granddog that I never got to meet! LOL
Thank you for posting all of the links concerning adopting furbabies. I broke just about every rule when I accepted Puddin' Head aka The Little Prince. His first owner was dx'd with end stage cancer when he had just been seperated from his mum. A male neighbor took him until a forever home was found and didn't fool with him, socially. He was fed, watered, well littered and had run of the apartment.

I took him at six months and he didn't like anyone. He tollerated me since I fed him and bought him a little toy everytime I went shopping. He never would have made it in a shelter as he would have stayed at the back of the cage and hissed. It has taken a year, neutering, and a constant supply of Rescue but we have become good roommates. Of course he will deny it but I woke up last week from a very deep sleep to find him grooming me.

I fell for the rascal, hook line and sinker in spite of the neglect attittude. What really got me was the creme tabby coloring with ginger markings and ice blue almond eyes.
