Some sufferers don't experience pain according to some of the information I've seen.
I can keep my pain levels low most of the time but it's at a high price; not doing much. Over the years it's made me afraid to do much of anything and still the pain comes unpredictably. I've found many triggers and just avoid them. They change over time so it's constant adjustment. My pain isn't so much a burning pain as a very ugly sort of pressure like my hand's in a hot vise. Over the years the pain and panic attacks can seem more similar. It's ironic this disease should affect me since I was always extremely active and physical and never paid pain a moments notice. But this pain is different; it can't be ignored. I've learned to distract myself from it but this is at a high price as well. My concentration and math skills have suffered enormously. It can be very difficult to maintain an even keel.
