How many of you suffer from cervical steno sis, and its lovely flair ups.
As for my experience (s)
I know the signs of when a flair up is coming,
.
My sleeping patterns start to mess up. Both the quality of my sleep as well as the duration.
Neck becomes very stiff, dull to intense pain levels. Once the neck starts the shoulder blades follow shortly there after. From there the pain follows a track into my right fore arm were just below my elbow it feels like its going to explode, Finally ending up in my fingers, making them stiff, clumsy and very uncomfortable specially if I touched metal.
So far as of January I have had 4 of these delicious flair ups, the sick part about it , is that the flair ups show up unannounced , nobody seems to know what triggers them.
What seems to work for me : flexe ril 25mg cut in half, three ½ pills per day for a maximum 3 weeks, as well as 1200 to 1600mg Ibeprophine By then my pain levels come down to my normal levels of around 6+ on the pain scale..
How do you control you flair ups?
Im always looking for new ideas, Please share
Keep smiling
JJ
Never try this on your own, flexeril has some really nasty side effect,

A little back ground;
I’m a 48yrs old male, I have moderate to severe chronic pain everyday of my life for the past10 years,
I was diagnosed with sever stinosis in the neck, severe D.D.D
At 37 I had to have a lamanectomy from C3 to C7 inclusive, do to herniated disc that affected my spinal cord. The doctors have made it very clear that there is real nothing left to try, medically.
Presently I can not feel with my hands, no sensation, I have pain from my head to my toes. I have been on every type of pain medication and all stopped working after a while
Now I take Lyrica and and medical marijuana
(My advice to the world ,” acceptance, never give up, keep your self occupied . get physiological help, just to put things into prospective. Try to smile)
