Thank you.... things went better than what i was expecting... of course he didn't understand why the doctor says he needs to go into assisted living.
I do agree with the doctors diagnosis.... Rick and i found 2 places that we think he will like... and one of them has people that he knows from the independent living place. We are taking him on Monday to look at both places we found. It will be a big adjustment, but i truly think once he gets to a place that has HIS bed and HIS couch and HIS recliner in it, then it will feel more like home. once we make the final decision, i guess Rick, the kids and myself will start packing his things and moving him in.
