Default Painting Outdoors Part Deux: The 5 day workshop on the Outer Banks, NC

We got home mid-week from our ten day vacation to the Outer Banks, where five of those days were dedicated to a plein air pastel workshop. I have to say my neuropathy seemed to like the activity, but the bad news is my Crohn's is flaring up so bad I have an appointment to see my gastroenterologist next week. I had to skip out early on Thursday's session, and the first leg of our flight back home was made miserable by an attack during take-off!

But I did paint seven new pictures in five days! While they are not perfect, nor really complete, given the heat, humidity, and physical challenges, I am pleased that I learned much. (The last picture was done indoors, as it rained. The photo I used for it is from my trip back home to Iowa last winter.)

Enjoy!
