my BIL was in the hospital and he demanded that the room be cold- he had to get very firm - meaning raised *heck* about it!
after all you & ins are paying for the room & should be -the temp that you are comfortable with..

and if they turned it up he was complaining right away- plus he was forever kicking his sheet off and pulling his gown off...
