I had a an epidural in my back for foot pain once. It did absolutely nothing.

I did have a reaction to the shot in my back though.

I actually wore a cast at least three times. The last one
was worn 2 months. I did notice a slight difference but when I started
walking it was right back.

I also tried a steroid injection in the bottom of my foot. The injection was
the most pain I have ever indured(and Ive given birth 4 times), I threw up
immediately from pain. My foot has been worse since, I have a permanent
numb spot at ;the injection site. I dont recommend an injection.

Other things I have tried: pt, night splints, custiom orthodics(180 dollars).
all kinds of shoes(I mainly wear slippers), a zillion meds, a zillion opinions
bone scans, xrays, and mri etc.

I am on a mix of meds that seem to take the edge off. But it definately
effects my quallity of life.

I hope you get the help you need.
