Hi Lori,
Welcome to NeuroTalk! I've had seizures for 36 yrs. and depression, and migraines can often be a part of seizures. There are many types of seizures if I may ask after you had the jerking, hot feeling etc, did you have a headache or feel really tired? If this happened it could possibly have been a seizure. My advice to you is to have your family Dr. refer you to see a neurologist or Epileptologist (Dr. specializing in epilepsy). Also keep a calendar and write down what time these possible seizures happen along with a description by doing this the Dr. may see a pattern as to what time of day or night you could be having seizures. Stay away from nutra sweet because that can cause more electrical activity in the brain which can lead to seizures. A lot of this could be hormone related when the hormones change every month it can cause seizures for some people. Here's wishing you well and May God Bless You!
