Default interesting book

just read 'against medical advice' by mystery writer james patterson. true story about the son of patterson's friend who had (past tense!) tourette's syndrome from the age of 5. told from the boy's point of view, it was an easy to read and inspiring book. his agonies were simply related and touching and his experiences will ring true to a lot of PDers who have gone everywhere and tried everything.

since we had just read that dr. werth of permanent acupuncture fame believes that a good amount of PD is anxiety driven, it was interesting to see what part that played in this boy's illness.

highly recommend it.
