I was able to convince my dr that the ambien was not having any effect on me, whatsoever. I would take it and still be awake 3 hours later. So she took me off of the ambien and actually she really did not like having to put me on it in the first place, but after 5 days of no sleep, she said she was just trying to knock me out. And then of course the lab did not run two of the tests she ordered, so I have to go back again and get that done. But the good news is I am sleeping and managing to get through the day just fine. I guess you would call it spring cleaning in the fall. Finally finished painting my kitchen and now Im on to the bathroom. So Im tiring myself out, which I think is helping me sleep also.
