Lightbulb for an acute short term, day or two..

using acetaminophen + and NSAID (naproxen) is not an issue.

Over time however, or in people with already existing kidney issues, this is not safe.

NSAIDs over time can affect kidney functions. And so does acetaminophen.

She might try using just the hydrocodone mixture + an ice pack for 20min 4 times a day. Sometimes ice is as good as naproxen.
