Hi Nancy

I am a big advocate for acupuncture

It has helped me with lower back pain and also with mysterious foot pains I was having a few years ago
In addition, after I had pesticide poisoning (sprayed by a malathione spewing plane while walking on the beach at dawn on Captiva Island) our therapist used a special technique that really helped me with the detox process

My son has Tourette Syndrome and Crohn's Disease and acupuncture is by far the most beneficial of all his treatments.

I am a coward re injections, giving blood etc........but I was astonished at how I truly did not feel the acupuncture needles.

I know other people who have also had acupuncture for chronic pain and have benefitted tremendously

Do choose an acupuncture therapist with care tho....someone with clinical experience is my recommendation, ie somone who practises for therapy rather than philosophy, if that makes sense

HTH
