Default Fingers crossed

well, have my first apointment with my new pain doc in about 1 1/2 hrs. I am so nervous. Ive been seeing the same one since 2001, but he is a 2 hr drive away and that drive is really getting hard for me. we have been doing it now for 5 yrs! so finally decided to look at finding a new one. My Neuro recomended this one and figured give it a try. I know shouldn't be nervous but can't help it. I've tried making a list of questions for him. Hubby thinks going into it planning on not liking him. When talked about it lst night he had an attitude of well your going to like him he is close. I was like ah, no, If I am comfortable with him then I will be glad to see about how it will work, but if Im not, then were just gonna have to deal with the drive. I know the drive is inconvinent for him as well, since I can't drive anymore he has to go with and having one closer means not needing a full day off for it. I just dont know what to do if I am not comfortable with him. Do I to keep some sense of peace in my alredy falling appart marriage grin and bear it? pasrt of me says yes but then the part that is logical says don't make your decision for anyother reason than how you feel! I am reallly gonna try that, also hoping maybe since no longer have the SCS, can try doing the epidurals again. did those pre SCS and they really did help for so long, then just got tired of them that was when we decided to do the SCS.
Sorry venting a bit. just keep fingers crossed for me, will try to post tonight on how it goes. took a fall yesterday and am so hurting from it as well!!!

Blessed Be
Deb
