I watched it on the BBC (at around 4am our time). Congratulations USA on your new President! Nothing political here, but it breaks new ground, and to a neutral with no axe to grind, your president elect is very impressive. His acceptance speech had rhetoric but also acknowledged what a tough task lies ahead.

And congratulations especially on avoiding the sort of situation that occurred 8 years ago - I was visiting in CA after the 2000 election and caught all the awful "hanging chads" stuff and vituperation. Not pretty at all.
