Hi,
Word recall is apparently common with starting Lamictal. It goes away or gets better after a while.
I have a hard time with word recall too -- but not from Lamictal. It seems that's lots of our meds can do this.

Various stomach / GI discomforts can also be part of Lamictal, but from your post, it sounds like perhaps everything got settled down. Maybe it is a good idea to write down when (how often) that happens if it comes back so that you can let your pdoc know about it.
