Ok, Kelly I forgot your cat was named Gracie and was sitting here trying to figure out what drug paraphernalia would resemble a hippo. LOL. You story is really cute though.
Additionally, I was watching the weather report this evening and it is abnormally cold where you are. Hope you are staying warm. I'll try to blow some warm air about due east. It was hot today. I still have my ac on.

I think the high today was 86 and it was sunny.
Both DDs are out this evening - DD18 at school and DD17 helping at church. It is nice to have some quiet around here. LOL.
Oh, homeless boy won't be coming back here. He came last night, said he wasn't feeling well, and laid down on the couch. He was acting really odd and I was so tired I just assume it was because he was feeling sick. However, when I got up this morning I starting thinking . . .his whole story isn't adding up just right, call it intuition, I don't know.
So this morning I started questioning a little bit more about his family, his dad that apparently moved out of the country and didn't tell him or his sister, his mom, his grandparents, etc. I also told him what he needed to get help (SS card, photo ID and birth certificate). He said his dad has it and he can't get a hold of him. I told him to call his grandparents and he said he couldn't do that. So I told him I would call. The kid turned white and then said he didn't have the number. The whole conversation was odd.
I gave him $2 for an all day bus pass and sent him on his way with addresses and phone numbers of where he needed to go downtown to get help.
DD18 got up and was telling me about a strange mark that he had on his arm. She said it was weird looking, kind of like a mark when you get blood taken.

(Good news - DD18 doesn't know what track marks look like).
Sorry I'm ranting. Long story short - I won't be helping him anymore.
