Federal law prohibits any creditor from taking any of your Social Security, including any amounts of that in your bank account. If you go to court and the only money you get is from SSDI, you will probably be declared judgement proof. Be ure you show up in court and let the judge know your circumstances, otherwqise you will get a default judgement and it will end up being a big mess before you get the judgement reversed.
