Peter Edgelow et all express how coughing can create much havoc with the muscles & spinal cord. Hold pillows against chest, core & back. But more importantly when coughing or sneezing put your thumb under your chin, press upwards as your head is pressing down. You can hear it crackle & pop. Keeps your spinal cord aligned. EASIER SAID THAN DONE WITH AN UPPER RESPIRATORY INFECTION, HUH? oops caps...
