Wow, everything you describe is really strange. The neuro must have figured your symptoms would subside within a week's time, but obviously they haven't.

You DO need to be at the top of your game as an RN in surgery, as you stated. If you were the patient, would you want someone who is not feeling right, working on you? And I wonder if you're ready for that stress already.

IMHO, I think you should skip work Monday and go back to your neuro. Make him/her listen to you. If they don't take you seriously, find one who will.

Maybe you should even consider going to the ER before then. I'm certainly no expert (not even close), but your symptoms are very worrisome.
